An Ambush in an Early Cretaceous Swamp

This artwork was worked on/completed from March through June 2005 with a combination of charcoal, carbon, and graphite pencil on a 11x14 illustration board. I had anatomical help from Scott Hartman in addition to continued shading and compositional help from my art teacher, Don Phillips. This artwork is scheduled to appear in the magazine, Prehistoric Times, issue #73.
