An adult Abelisaurus comahuensis on the hunt in the Late Cretaceous. This artwork was completed in January/February 2004 with a combination of graphite, charcoal, and carbon pencil on a 9"x12" cold press illustration board. Specifically, the dinosaur was completed in graphite, the trees in carbon, and the ferns, ground and background in charcoal. I was fortunate to receive quite a bit of help from established paleoartist Todd Marshall. It appeared in the magazine entitled Prehistoric Times issue #65.
