We spend most of our lives looking for something we don't have. We are convinced that the elusive quantity will fulfill our greatest desires, make us feel whole. After a time we either fib to ourselves that we've found it or convince ourselves that it does not exist. What are YOU looking for? This is an 8 by 5.5 gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art is convinced that something other than self isn't necessary if self is supplied with the requisite tools in northwest Austin, Texas, or any planet in the known universe.

Artist Reply: Nikolay, good to hear from you! Northwest Austin like Texas and pretty much the rest of the continent is treating me rather indifferently---so things are normal. At least by outward appearance. Hope you are being treated the same or slightly better. :)

Love the background, Charles . Strange , before I saw this , I was considering doing something like this on one of my pieces . Very good explanation too. Amazing how much one can do with what they have and to not want more.
