This small piece was started in 2023, pretty early in the year. I had the head lying around for some time before I decided on a title. The title, in turn, lead to what form the rest would take. I used my special compound, cotton, Styrofoam, newsprint and acrylic paint. It stands 7 inches tall with base and the base is 5 inches around. The Lump has a heart but it isn't exactly where it should be This occurs sometimes.. Original Jones Art, still lumping along in northwest Austin, Texas.

This is quite evocative Charles. The upward gaze is a fascinating aspect. We spectators make of it what we will of course. And then we see the heart. The phrase " heart on my sleeve" comes to mind. Take care of yourself Charles.Joanie Holliday 22 days ago
WHAT A NEAT LITTLE LUMP CHARLES. HE'S LOOKING UP WITH HIS TENDER LITTLE HEAT PRAYING FOR ARMS AND LEGS. WHAT A GREAT FACE PLEAING.
