Another day of working on the 3D project with a side order of having a new stove delivered. Long story but, all said, I'm lucky a neighbor visited when he did. This is a 9.25 by 4 inches envelope drawing. I used gel pen and a bit of charcoal pencil. Original Jones Art still in the game in northwest Austin, Texas.

I feel, Charles, that you are very thoughtful. the eyes tell me that he is thinking about something, but I can't figure out exactly what he is thinking about. maybe only he knows it himself.

Artist Reply: Maybe he's just waiting for some one to look up from his smartish rectangle so he can share his thoughts, try them on for size, as it were. The trouble with thoughts is, if you keep them bottled up, they either outgrow that non-stick brain pan and make funny marks on paper and canvas, or worse, die a lonesome and disillusioned death. Thanks so much for your nice comment, Mr. Wu. Hope you are having a great new day---well, 'newish.' :)

This guy looks like wearing long fins preparing to dive. into the night.:) Be well, Charles

Artist Reply: Thanks, Nikolay! It's just one of my 'quickie' envelope drawings to have something new to upload. But I enjoy making them, nonetheless. Hope you are doing great too. :)

A more subtle envelope rendering, Charles but it works . Hope your relationship with your new stove will heat up nicely : )

Artist Reply: We had our first moment this morning with bacon and eggs. The bacon never tasted as good. Just lucky the other's leaking feeling which was worsening apparently didn't take out yours-truly. My neighbor saved the day and checked on me later. So he gets a 5 star rating. :)

Hi Charles: The deep charcoal background is a nice touch. Glad you have a new stove. Take care

Artist Reply: Thanks, John! I've discovered that not all envelopes are created equal. This one had a rather delicate weave but proved to be somewhat thinner than most of the envelopes I have used. ' Keep It Simple, Stupid' is not only a great maxim for life, it works with art as well. Hope all is good with you. :)
