We are born alone---well, there's usually more than a few involved, but bear with me---and we die alone. Again, there could be some folks around the bedside or flocking to see the bloody aftermath of the head-on but, yeah, basically, we are flying solo. I always find it mildly humorous when homo sapiens is referred to a 'a social creature.' Maybe they mean social enough to make each other's life a living hell. Yeah, that could be it. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art is, per usual, flying solo in a plane with no controls, in northwest Austin, Texas.

i apologize for the personal comment Charles ,i kinda gotta overwhelm with my new sitaution

Artist Reply: Personal comments are the only ones that are valid, Ray. You had something positive come into your life and felt elated. Not a thing to apologize about, really. Hope all is going as planned. :)

I've solved that problem of being alone already Charles ;D nice portrait I also like your commentary Charles.

Artist Reply: Great to hear, Ray. I try to tell the facts as I see them. Sometimes an uncomfortable truth is revealed. This is my ArtWanted reply, Ray. Just so you know. :)

Hey Charley, I think this Guy likes being alone, he just don't show it , Super !

Artist Reply: Yeah, but he draws the line when he starts talking to himself in the third person, Denny. You know, I think you should do some more gourd work. I'm probably just being selfish though. You've been busy with your painting and busy is always good. :)
