Black Narcissus is a 1947 Technicolor religious Drama film by the British writer-producer-director team of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, based on the 1939 novel by Rumer Godden. Tensions mount as Dean's laid-back charm makes an impression on Clodagh (Deborah Kerr) , but also attracts the mentally unstable Sister Ruth (Kathleen Byron), who becomes pathologically jealous of Clodagh, resulting in a nervous breakdown and a violent climax. This is my next to be painted on 20" X 16" Canvas board a little more difficult because it uses acrylic paint. I have a bigger scanner now to capture the look of the artwork. Now the site has increased the depth and size I have gone back to most of my portraits and either re-drawn them or finished them off better.
