River in the Forest Acrylic Painting

This is a painting of a river in the forest that supports all the animals and birds and fish that live here. It is done in acrylic, semi-transparent brush strokes overlaid many times and has an appearance of depth. I like all the greens, a very healing color, especially if you are surrounded by living color.

Artist Reply: Thank you. I love the green of nature and the river in the green forest. It seems so relaxing to go to a quiet place where there are just the birds and sounds of the water. I enjoyed painting it, but all the leaves were challenging.
