Adding to my life list of birds, the wood storks were plentiful at the north unit of Richland Creek WMA in east Texas. Although I saw 100 or more of these large birds (33-45" tall) they are a threatened species, just taken off the endangered list and the only stork that breeds in America.

We have a lot of storks in France and they are "protected"!!! Very important as they are supposed to bring "babies" to families :)))) Wonderful captures, Brenda!!!!!!!
