The 2nd birth can be just as traumatic as the first, though more metaphysical than physical. :) I used felt-tip, w/c, w/c pencil and gel pen. Image area 6 by 6 inches. Original Jones Art laying another one in Austin, Texas..

You have such a wonderful imagination, Charles! Are you our new Salvador Dali?

Artist Reply: If I am, Deborah, I'm really going to have to work on this moustache of mine. It is merely adequate by his standards. :) Thanks for commenting!

Outstanding work!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Dawson-Lynn James! You just never know what a quick sketch early in the day will reward you with---well, I don't anyway. :)

Interesting abstract, Charles!

Artist Reply: Actually, I saw this in my backyard this morning as I was sipping java, John. ;) Thanks for the comment.

fantastic...

Artist Reply: Thank you, Maria! I was taking the 'born-again' idea to places it had never gone before...at least not on THIS planet. :) Also, on a less frivilous note, was the notion that a person though born as a more-or-less empty vessel over the course of a short indeterminate life-span becomes something quite different. Or at least has the potential to. ;)

Absolutely Brilliant Work, Charles!!!!!!!! Eggcellent!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: Hey, Chris! Thanks for the comment. So maybe wiping out my eyes last night was worth it. ;) I played a 1936 cornet this morning for the culturalization of my neighbors. Ha.
