Fragile

Still I am holding little shells
together with the sand,
strongly as my value is,
for you my dearest friend.

A sign of once that true love was,
even though it’s now fossil.
I’ll pamper them in my whole life,
because they always are fragile.

I put them later in their place,
where I can see… each part.
Three little shell’s so precious,
which once were given by your heart.

Magical and originally conceived and accomplished. Ben, I enjoy your work on AW as well as your insightful, precious poetry.

Artist Reply: Thank you Anne. It's good to see both works together.

Another wonderful poem and a marvellous image. I think that we all have a fragile side :) Excellent work !!

Artist Reply: I agree fully that we somehow all have our backpack and from there create our art. Art is a feeling you get with that brushstroke or flower or with that ugly or nice thought. I always said:"If the sky is grey, I paint it blue". "Let us make a colorful world" Art is motion and emotion!

Very nice composition Ben! fragile, fragile, fragile...as I am, I love shells amd sand, so many memories have gone with them :(

Artist Reply: Saving memories in the right place, will give you space for new ones. Just as a shell will find the beach each time, that shell find it finds that ocean of love again.
