My friend David Robinson and his sponsored child (Jeniffer) from Compassion International. David and Beth Robinson have sponsored their child for several years. Compassion International coordinates funds from sponsors to local churches like the one in Ecuador that helped David and Beth's sponsor child. Sponsors are asked to write and encourage the children and since it is church sponsored, the children are taught and cared for in a local Christian community.
