this may be my favorite!

Artist Reply: Thanks Brenda, I was walking in a park by a stream last Fall and saw the carburetor next to a tree. It must have been in the stream and someone fished it out and threw it by the tree. That was the birth of "Carb Man". I flipped it over and discovered his secret identity, the "Owl" was born. I left it where I found it and went home. I was thinking about how cool it looked for a few days and decided to go back, hoping the priceless "rusty junk" was still there. Luckily it was and I took it home. A month or so later, I was walking in the stream behind my house and found "Sparky". It is some kind of electric or phone line housing made of brass or something like that. So now Carb Man has Sparky, his dog or maybe it's his son. They all live happily together in my back yard. Now you know the rest of the story. :)
