The infamous Zero - the mitsubishi A6M was the pre -eminent fighter in the pacific at the time of Japans entry into the war. This later A6M5c version was a development to stay the pace with the later American fighters that had rested airsuperiority away from the Japanese - outclassed but Dangerous the glory days of the Zero were behind it, But in the hands of an ace the zero was ever formidable.
