Red-bellied woodpecker eating the popcorn-like berries of the tallow tree by White Rock Lake in Dallas. It seems they are consumed by various birds including doves and cardinals as well.

Great capture. I have never heard of a popcorn tree - Very interesting and it does look a lot like popcorn.
