This is probably my second post-marriage painting, the first being one I have yet to upload that was painted in 2000. I think it reflects my almost constant state of anxiety as I've observed the world around me. I have always been more observer than participant, partially by choice/temperament, partially by circumstance. This is a painting done with oil sticks in July of 2001. Image area is 16 by 20 inches. Maybe we are all in 'a constant state of apprehension' these days? ;) Original Jones Art looking worried in Austin, Texas.
