I've been working on this most of January. Finding a small drawing from around 2021, I thought I'd try my hand at making it three-dimensional. I think it came out very like the drawing. This is composed of my special compound, Styrofoam, newsprint and wood. It measures a bit over 12 inches tall and the base is roughly 5 inches in circumference. It's what Original Jones Art does to while away the time in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: I made him rather dense, so he is surprisingly heavy given the ingredients, Dave. Oh, I forgot to mention that the little black eyes are from two of my gel pens. They served as the soft bit of plastic the tip of the pen pushed into when putting the cap on. I had a couple that were black there when most were translucent. Guess it was meant to be. The sun is out again today. Maybe I should venture out? :)
