Diptych of 6"x6" x 1- 3/8" each with profiled edges (15x15 x 2 1/2 cm)
Art continues on the sides.
(Top, bottom and middle sides are painted in matte black.)
Finished with a gloss medium varnish. Doesn't need a frame.
I TOTALLY LOVE IT!
Mixed media used:
soft wood shavings (excelsior), crushed
egg
shells,
silk,
music paper (sun),
Matte medium
(glue),
gloss medium & varnish, gloss gel
medium.
(All Liquitex and/or Golden.)
Many shades of blue, raw and burnt
umber,
acra gold , acra orange, plus iridescent
gold
and
some copper tones in acrylics.
