The Sacrifice

©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 7/06/06. He had a long hard walk that day. It wouldn't have been so bad if the guards hadn't almost killed him beating and mocking him. He fell many times, from exhaustion, pain, and he had trouble seeing from the blood in his eyes. Each time as he slowly crawled back to his weak legs, he'd look into the crowd. The crowd he had preached to, the crowd he had healed, the crowd he loved, and would give his very life for. He gave it unselfishly because that what his Father wanted him to do. A rollerball pen sketch that I ran through the filters of Photoshop®. It has the look of an old etching. Happy Easter to All!
