A plump coyote was startled when I got out of the car to approach a fenceline. Thinking I had missed a close shot of it, I was able to grab one when it appeared past the treeline, making sure that I was still there. This was near a water pumping station in Combine, Texas.

The wolf and the fox got together creating a coyote, a trickster with the cunning of a fox, and the ability to ambush like a wolf pack.
