I came across this photo while I was searching for photos for a college project I'm doing. This is one of many old cabins that I photographed while in the mountains. This old homestead is actually about three miles from our place right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are a bunch of modern day cabins for people to rent, but... this is an actual old-timey homestead.
