Artist Reply: Thank you so much for your great comment, Sharon! I really appreciate you taking the time to look at and comment on my photos! Lover's Leap is near our place in the mountains! I remember hiking up that mountain when I was just a few months pregnant! It was the first mountain I ever hiked in and we were close to the edge! The trees were bare and I could see way down! It scared me and instead of walking down the mountain, I scooted myself down! I felt like I was going to fall off and scooting down on my bottom was the only way I felt in control! We were safe and there would be no way I'd hike up and down a mountain, even with being a few months pregnant, if we weren't! Still... it was scary and very, very unfamilar to me! But... fun, just the same or rather, exhilarating because it was so very different!
