Wonderful Nira and you are very vibrant and have touched us with your words and spirit and your art. Many times we reveal our hearts and soul through our work and I have been blessed to know you and I hope for many years to come........
I just love doing self-portraits when I don't have nothing else in mind.....This one is so "ETHREAL" ! Almost "Saintly" !
Artist Reply: I would like to tell you one thing, that I've never told you before. Since I was first year student... in 1984, we were asked to make self - portrait.. it wasn't interesting to me, then to do it.. not at all.. but i did it, only because I had to.
BUT IT IS YOU, Thom Roslan, my talks with you back then 5 years ago.. that made me start thinking that direction... YOU THOMI !!
And since then, I very much developed in my thoughts for reason of doing so.... Thanks a lot, my dear friend.
WHO IS THIS WONDERFUL LOOKING LADY AND WHATS THIS TALK OF FADING. CERTAINLY NOT AWAY. PLEASE STAY.
Artist Reply: Hello Calvin... Internet can be deceiving media, so I've learned myself. Not always , but sometimes indeed. I was playing with my portrait.. and the title came of this result actually.. If you read Emily's comment, I very much agree with her.. I think it has a mystical quality. In internet people very easily can "FADE AWAY".. or fade away......................... Thank you for the WONDERFUL words...
