Artist Reply: Dee, Thank you so much. As a child I ran all over our yard pretending I was a horse, LOL. They have always been a favorite of mine. I wanted to paint an unusual one so I did this one in one shade of blue with different hues createde by cutting the blue with white. Even though the mane looks white it isw actually very light blue, thanks for your comments, Diane
