I agree with Vernonette it reminds me of something trying to surface from a time gone by...also Land's End...where the land ends....love thinking of this also....yes the stories and images that our mind brings to surface when seeing this....thanks for sharing this one love...((hugs))

This photograph reminds me of something out of a Fairy Tale- perhaps the old relics of a castle from long, long ago. Oh, what stories your photograph could conjure up.

Fantastic photo, Sharon! You have captured the mood of this place very well, which is cold and desolent and eerie!

Keenya Woods 15 Aug 2009

how did u get that shot! You are a master w/ the camera!

jerry carlin 15 Aug 2009

with the English fog you couldn't see much further!

Julie Mayser 15 Aug 2009

Barren is the operative word here... and desolate. There is much mood expressed in this photo.

Donald Schrier 15 Aug 2009

Great shot Sharon. You can see from looking at this why in ancient times they beleived there was an end to the world and as barren as this looks you can see why they would see that as a fact.

Sigridur Bachmann 15 Aug 2009
