Monet's Giverny, France

One of my most favorite days on earth was spent in the morning looking at the Impressionist paintings in the Musee ‘d Orsay in Paris and then getting on a bus and going to Giverny, France for the afternoon and spending that afternoon in Claude Monet’s beautiful home and wandering in his gardens and water lily ponds. It was heavenly gorgeous. I learned that Claude Monet created his water lily pond to paint. Wow! Hope that you enjoy!

Sharon, That's awesome! The picture is great but getting to visit Giverny! Wow! Monet and Renoir are two of my favorites. I have several books and have only imagined a visit. And to have the resources to create your own private heaven to paint? Thanks for sharing your experience.

Hello dearest Sharon... I'm sure you had a wonderful time.I so much can understand you, my friend. I love your waterlilies and works inspired by the Claude Monet’s beautiful home and in his gardens and water lily ponds. I also love Monet's art.. and so it several times, in different exhibition... and also love to paint waterlilies myself.. or take their shots. Such a MAGNIFICENT photo, and I think I saw the painting as well. XXXX
