Artist Reply: Thanks Sharon, I really was captivated by the light falling on the mangroves beyond the foreground, the air had a hint of smoke too from a camp fire which made the scene look even more inviting.

Artist Reply: Thanks Emily..I love the shapes that these mangrove roots made, when I framed it in the camera, I wanted to use the foregound ones as a curtain for the lit ones in the mid-ground.
