Bluebells of Scotland are short to medium, slender, hairless, rhizomatous perennials in the Campanulaceae or bellflower family. While known in the U.S and Britain as Harebell, these flowers are known as the Bluebell in Scotland. Bluebells can be found here in South central Alaska growing on the rock faces lining the Seward Highway. This picture of the Bluebells was taken alongside Thunderbird Falls near Eklutna Lake.
