A familiar summertime scene in Windsor, Connecticut. The white streak in the sky above the netting is water from the irrigation system.

this whole photo has so much to look at, the shadows and shapes, so many different textures, lines, forms, even behind the net...love how the dark shadow and ground come to the dark building...interesting and well done

Artist Reply: Thank you very much for seeing so much of what I wanted to convey with this photo. The netting they use for shade grown tobacco is always a challenge, because you can't always see the tobacco plants clearly. The sun was in my favor on this day. I really appreciate your comments. Thanks for stopping to take a look.

Very good photographs

Artist Reply: Thank you very much, John. Despite its bad reputation, tobacco can still be very photogenic here in Connecticut. Appreciate your comment.

Nice colors and composition. I like the ”gentle” fence to keep the corn people out. LOL.

Artist Reply: Thank you very much Alex. Is that a reference to mid-westerners? (kidding. . .mostly) Thanks to the Indians, we have plenty of corn and tobacco here in New England. I appreciate your stopping by.
