well done sharon, nice artwork, i love Cornwall and frequent there often, hence my portfolio being mostly cornwall paintings. Thanks also for your own kind comments.
Hi again Sharon, I saw the painting of Cornwall and can tell you it looks like a place called Talland Bay near Polperro and Liscard in Cornwall where my dad lived until he passed away. I had the pleasure of going there, true-to-form defintely!
The picture comes alive the further you get from it so how on earth you manage to draw it in the first place when you are up close and the dabs of colour are less defined is amazing. Well, I think so. Cool!
This is a little cove, with a couple of boats. It is quiet and peaceful. You pick intimate subjects in your landscapes, which gives them a very personal feel.
Sharon, You certainly did a terrific job on this painting. I did look at the photo co compare.
Love most of your great photos. Now you have a lot of paintings to do :)
Thanks for commenting on my paintings :)

Artist Reply: Thank you so VERY much, Armando. I love your input lots. How is AW working for you? Today I started to Finally get ArtWatch emails, but now I am Getting NO emails from AW AT ALL!!! No comment emails and none anyone writes through AW to thank me for comments on their paintings. This is very frustrating. Hopefully you are getting emails through AW. :-) If you aren't I have written this in vain.
I appreciate your comment on that manor house too.
Hugs and have a very wonderful day,
Sharon
a lovely image sharon! i can smell the sea just by looking at it .. love the muted tones, the tranquility coming from this image. it has a soothing effect on me.. excellent! :)
What a "secret place" you found, Sharon! A retiring place just near the sea... And you bring us the "piece"... with the soft colours and a very, very well done composition!! It´s so realy and so calm...
