This photograph was taken about a month and a half ago, and is of a buttercup in a lake swollen by spring rains. The photo is untouched up except for a minor light change. Even now the brilliant yellow is a bit too yellow even after toning it down!
Artist Reply: Your words are very kind. I suppose I should thank the auto setting of the middle of the line Sony H2 (which excels in macro, but sadly not much else), and the creator of the universe handi' work. (that would include me as well as the buttercup!).
Artist Reply: Thanks Joke. I didn't think this one would be so well liked, and critiquing my own work is a weakness of mine. It never fails I post a photo or rendering that I think will wow everyone and might get one or two comments. Then I post one out of that I think isn't so good out of boredom and get a dozen favorable comments! Duh huh! Thanks again!
Artist Reply: Oops Nearly missed you! Your unselfish comments are what really makes this all worthwhile. To me art is all about spreading happiness and joy. The majack happens when an artists posts art that many people like, the people in turn give a smile for or a 'soul valuable' as payment I. This love enables artists to recycle this energy into more paintings and photographs. Its a energy of karma and its wonderful, thank you. I hope this makes sense! Sleep is a stranger lately.
