!!! I can smell the forest and hear someone's BMW Z4 coming up the hill there. I love the way you have the scene being dark dark dark and THEN sunlight bursts into it. What an artist you are.
This is excellent Sharon! Not surprised at all that it won awards! At first it looked like a photograph from the thumbnail, and I was shocked that it was paint! Very well done...great use of value, temperature and colour! Really, this is an excellent, excellent piece!
Sharon, I want to add that I looked at the video of your beautiful Paintings, and between the painting and the most wonderful Classical Music, with the Grande Piano just sent me momentarily into a most wonderful place..WOW..I'm talking about the video with the Avon River Scene.
It must have been a fix! That it didn't get first place! It is gorgeous and even better than nature. Just the right time of year now, too! Congratulations, Sharon! Peace, etc., Bruce
Sharon, You've done it again! You keep doing it over and over and over ..... putting more beautiful and exceptional photos on "Art Wanted!" This one is so realistic and reminds me of some of the places I go to get some good shots!
John
Your picture are hard to believe. If they are painted or they're photo's? The only way to tell is you signed the corner. Please give me any tips on painting that look so realist. I am suprised on the painting that are acrylics. I have had so many problems with acrylic drying too fast.
*.* I like the road and all the shadows here! You did an amazing job making the trees shine with the midday sun and it seems like a great place to take a joy ride!
Works that hit my senses with 'I've been there' always impress me. I've never been to Arkansas but I've driven on a couple of roads that this reminds me of, including the way you have captured the irregular bitumen surface.
