"Anemone, so well Named of the wind, to which thou art all free" (George MacDonald, Wild Flowers) *** The name Anemone comes from the Greek word meaning "wind"). The Anemone coronaria ("Kalanit" in Hebrew) is one of the most well known and beloved flowers in Israel.
