Artist Reply: Hello, Nat :-)...First I find it wonderful that you call me Nirush, since very few people do so...like my father, my brothers...mostly one of them actually..and one of my very best friends from childhood...Not sure where it started..or who started it..I only know that...sometimes, my father call me also Nirushka...Or Nirushka Kolaka :-))...Kolaka..it's because as a small kid, who started to talk,I used to call the Shokolad/a (= chocolate ) Kolaka...LOL..!! Beautiful Work Nira.......Love the panoramic background on both paintings. Is that thick "pasto" paint I see there or just reflections? I hope it's pasto paint....Love textured paintings!

Perhaps it's an idea to use "PASTO" in my painting too...I used it few times for other artistic small decorative projects. I think we're all ready for spring as winter's been disappointment or blessing depending on whether you like snow or not). I like snow but not shovelling it though haven't had a chance to that either. Spring as depicted here is about rebirth, growth, warmth, and pleasure. May it be the same for you.
