This photograph was taken in the courtyard of City Hall in Beverly Hills. I was struck by the beautiful leaves ready to fall from the trees. I captured a moment where it appeared that the leaves were hanging by nature’s thread. The effect reminded me of the colorful decorations on Christmas trees that hang by fine threads creating an artistic arrangement. It is difficult to find anything man made that can compete with the beauty of nature. Since many of my photographs are abstracts with a vast array of imagery, this abstract presents many images. both in the foreground and background. The beautiful rust branches against the gray blue skies present a dramatic contrast of color.
