Breakthrough

This was my breakthrough painting for my working in several layers and surfaces with the glazing and scratching and reaching back into earlier painted imagery.

Artist Reply: Olga thanks for your wonderful comments. The piece is quite large at 61" wide by 41" tall, 2.25 inches deep, I have framed it in a double oak painted black with it covering the sides and just the thin sides of the frame showing in the front.
