HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I did this 27 x 22 pencil drawing of my dad (age 18 / 38 years ago) and my brother (age 19 / 13 years ago) in dress blues during boot camp. The original is my dad’s x-mas present and a copy (11 x 17) is for my brother. This piece took about 1.5 months to complete, with most of the work happening in the last two days before x-mas eve (finished on 12/23/07). I hope everyone enjoys, especially my father; he always wanted a side-by-side black and white of him and my brother together. This was a hard piece to complete. Thanks for stopping by and looking and especially for any comments. Enjoy your day! ** If anyone is interested in doing a commission of a loved one especially one in the military please email me through either here or @ [email protected]. I am available for commissions right now all I need is a clear 8 x 10 for reference.**

SO REMINDS ME OF MY HUSBAND IN HIS DAYS AS A MARINE. THEY LOOK SO BABY-FACED, HARDLY OLD ENOUGH TO FIGHT FOR THE COUNTRY~ Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Artist Reply: I so agree with you Emily. They are still such babies when they are thrown into situation. *Happy Holidays!!* Thank you so much for your wonderful comments.
