Goin' Home

Going home to a nice warm home and doggie' supper we are blessed in so many ways, some very obvious like the love of a pet, and others that are temporally unseen but nevertheless profound like Gods love for all of us including basset hounds!

You had posted this before I came on AW but I saw the thumbnail off to the side when viewing your current butterfly image. I just had to see it. This is a beautiful and loving image. What a story it tells.

Artist Reply: I wish I could fully express what your kind words mean to me, thank you Delores!

When I was living on a Wisconsin farm as a youngster our Boxer used to ride with us in the truck just like this. Great picture, thanks. :-)

this is so lovely it is very emotive for me. of cold days in england, sitting in the car with my dog waiting for my dad. i think you have caught somethinng really special here. i hope you have a creative new year.xxxx

Artist Reply: Thanks Jasmine! Bogie is a bit of warmth on these bright winter kinda warm days...I will trade you two cheery sunshiney' days for one rainy dreary days! I love the rain, the ice, snow, an occasional tornado, a large asteroid impact now and again… : }>

Lol! This is cute!

Artist Reply: Thats the Wudge' aka Bogie last seen begging for cookies. I am sure he is a Walter Mitty basset hound and has adventures 24-7, even when he is sleeping he dreams sometimes barking (a muffled "woof woof") growls and sometimes he wags his tail, but just the very end of it like a rattle basset ....weird dog, weird master...weird life , but its all beautiful!
