I was at Monterey Bay California overlooking the harbor area and noticed a large group of seals resting on the deck below near some boats that were moored next to it. I was taking some abstract style photos of the tangled mass of seal bodies(they were group all around an on top of each other. There must have been about forty seals on this deck)As I was photographing I noticed these two reaching towards each other and I liked the composition. The Title name came later when I came up with a play on the words
