I love the color of amber. I was thinking about the Lost Amber Room of the Russia Czar that had been on TV. What a lost treasure of such a beautiful, incredible room! Russia is known for it's amber. If I could create works with gems, this would be one I would delight working with. As I am not able to do so, I still dream of fantasy designs. These I can create by manipulation of my own photos, and my own art works, as I did with this work. It takes some time to figure out how to manipulate it all and layout these designs. They are a joy to work on, such a childish pleasure for me as the designs begin to form. I work at it until it feels right to me. I hope you feel some of the same delight as I do from my creation.
