Fire at Dusk

Oil on board 18"z20". A gold and maroon sun-down that turned the sky into an awsome sighy and silouetted both tree and elk in stark outline. Natural brilliance and if done welll

The clouds are absolutley gorgeous and the silhouttes are great - beautiful work!

Artist Reply: Thank you. Some skies do seem to be on fire when the colorsa re so vivid and deep. Such scenes surely inspire the artists and leave us disappointed because it is never good enough to compare with nature.

GORGEOUS THE LIGHTING IS JUST PERFECT

Artist Reply: That sun was so bright you could not look into it - almost as intense as an eclipse. Was a warm evening and the light made it seem much warmer. Glad you enjoyed. Thanks.

I like the silouette against the colorful sunset!

Artist Reply: Sorry I missed you way back in September. Thanks belatedly.

Beautiful work!

Artist Reply: Thanks Joanna. Heading for your gallery.
Artist Reply: Some urban places I can like. I'm a pristine wilderness champion but there are exceptions. Beautiful homey place of someone who cares.

fantastic art...its so awsome the colours and scene

Artist Reply: Even the best camera could not have caught the essence of this scene when in its presence. Cameras and pigments are great but not in comparison with Mother Nature. Jack Frost can paint a wonderful scene on a window pane too. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the compliment.

This is marvellous art! A pity that the picture is so small, I would love to see some more detail, nevertheless it shows you great talent beautifully, Faye.
