Pariah

The most frequently used animal symbols of ancient mythology are the boar, fish, serpent, bird, and herd animals are closely connected with the physical well being of the tribe. Divination of future events and past wisdom can be gained through proper use of animals. Very powerful opponents take the shapes of animals for extra power. Spirits and supernatural beings also take animal forms, often temporarily, before being reborn to guard a land or clan and thus its fertility. Thus, animals symbolize the essence of fertility and vitality in Welsh and Celtic mythology. Pariah, the image title is a testamant to the sci-fi book of the same name by Timothy Goodwin, a member of Art Wanted. Tim is a brilliant writer and artist who excels in the written word and as an amazing graphic artist. I am pairing some of my photographs with a science fantasy novel he is writing that is still in progress. I like to support the many talented members on this website. Timothy welcomes you to read his works, especially if you enjoy a diversity of genres in science fiction, fantasy and horror, It is worthwhile to see his work on his website @www.artwanted.com/ orion005

Slightly reminiscent of the petroglyphs if you squint your eyes just perfectly. A lovely brilliant narrative and photograph to match. Great work Julie. Michael

Artist Reply: I wanted to achieve that effect as well as others given the anthopomorphic face of this creature who lives deep in the waters of this cavern. Several images will be used in a book in progress, Garden of Tears. Stay tuned to this station. As you know, sometimes it is hard to write narratives and so much easier to post he photo since I have so much information and interesting stories I would love to write. Your comments are always in depth written In Forbes, a unique language that is wonderful. Have you ever written poetry?
