During the last few weeks, we have experienced two fires in California which effected the atmosphere, creating stunning sunrises and sunsets. These are not common where we live, so we were both thrilled to be able to capture this rarity. Thanks Tom and Susan for giving me more material to appreciate my love of the state I have lived in all my life. It is tragic when these fires burn down homes that I experienced when living in Malibu;thankfully the fire did not jump the highway in Point Dume where I lived. I don't think Bob Dylan who lived up the hill would have appreciatetd it!! Both of you find beauty in the most fascinating and unusual ways. Fantastic images!!!
