The Scorpion's Touch

If only the real thing could be as tranquil as this piece turned out. I can personally testify that it isn't. I used gel pen and color pencil here. Image area is roughly 6 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches. Original Jones Art welling up in Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Anneke. I'm always a little hesitant to upload my purely abstract pieces for the simple fact that they aren't everyone's cup of Earl Gray. There's actually a lot of subtle shading and coloring going on in this piece. :)
