King fishers are a difficult subject as far as photography goes! We Have two species here , I don’t know the scientific names but one is smallish and the other is about the size of a large crow, they both are so fast and skittish that I only have blurs and blank frames to show for my efforts to photograph these remarkable birds!

Artist Reply: We only have the small species here, they are very rare. Some days ago I found a dead Kingfisher, lying in front of a Window :( Poor little bird.
