An other windmill one can find in my town
Nederhorst den Berg
(in the
Netherlands, between Utrecht and
Amsterdam)
Unfortunately there's not a lot of information
about this type of windmill.
It is very
old. (somewhere in the 1700's.)
This type is called a "prutmolen."
(prut windmill)
It was used to squeeze out the last discarded
parts of the fish oil
(levertraan and
lijnolie).
Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for viewing and have a great day!
Sjon

creatieve dag toe.
Sjon.

Hi Sjon, Although I have never properly been in Holland [passed through on a troop train to Germany many times ] and I have always wanted to go there to walk along the canals and drink the beer. I like your work a lot.Johan Briers 06 Nov 2007
