L'ECOUTE

This huge sculpture created by Henri de Miller is located in front of the church of Saint Eustache (Place Rene Cassin) in Paris. The sculpture called "l'Ecoute" (The Listener) consists of a head with a hand in front of it. It is a popular piece of art for both kids and adults! It captures the imagination of all and makes it irresistible for people to be part of it.

Title is appropos. Reminiscent of ruins of the ancient empires it says to me what can happened when great powers fail to listen to warning, they collapse and become mere curiosities.
