I LOVE HOW YOU WORKED THE COLORS, ESPECIALLY THE BRIGHT YELLOWS THAT JUST POP OUT AT YOU, AND THE MELLOW PURPLES IN THE MOUNTAINS. PERFECT COMPLEMENTARIES!

Artist Reply: Thanks Emily. I am amazed that so many like this painting.

Wonderful work Faye.

Artist Reply: Thanks Jerry. Am still going to redo it with softer colors. I appreciate all the positive comments though in this case I just cannot agree. I liked the composition of this picture but I overdid the colors. Perhaps there should have been glaze layers to down tone some of the brilliance.

what a beautiful painting,, I can feel like I'm right there just by looking at it!

Artist Reply: Surprises me that so many like this painting. I am not happy with it as the bright colors are not blended together well enough - I want to go back with many glazes and soften the edges and blend the colors better. A painting done some time ago and good for review and learning lesson for another time. Thanks for looking.

Very colorful picture.

Artist Reply: I look now and think too much color. would atone down with glazes if doing it over.
