All of your paintings are beautiful, the tigers are georgeous...my suggestion for a name for this one would be "Satisfaction..." I only have to look at his face to see he has been well fed.
Top notch, first rate ,breath taking work. Thanks for the opportunity to veiw these works of yours. More info about you and the works would be a treat.
Artist Reply: Deborah,
Thanks for your kind comments. I am a little overwhelmed at the moment because I just found this site and put my pictures up on it yesterday afternoon. I wasn't expecting such kind feedback from everyone.
My story in brief is that I was really into art when I was younger, but sort of fell out of it for a decade or so. It took some pretty hairy situations in Iraq to make me really focus on what was important to me in life. Art turned out to be one of those things in a big way. I started playing around with watercolors when we got back at the end of 2005 by doing a commerative painting for my unit. It has just grown from there.
I have always really loved nature and wildlife, and I was wanting to do something to help promote conservation and wildlife education. The "Tiger!" series sort of blossomed out of that desire (besides the fact that I really love tigers). The next projects that I hope to do is a series promoting wetland conservation specific to the southern states where I reside.
Thanks again to everyone for your kind comments and for your interest.
Brad
oh, honey, these are priceless. even as a print you are underselling yourself. i honestly believe that as artists we go one way or the other. we either have super egos and know no bounds in pricing or we're our own worst critic and under-rate ourselves right into the poor house. you fall into the latter i fear. give yourself more credit 'cause you really do deserve it.
