Sasha is my little friend. I gave her mom a baby shower at work, so I've known Sasha since before she was born. She's just turned two, and is about to attend daycare school. She always checks to see what pictures I've done of babies, particularly her. She recently informed me that she is no longer a baby, but a "kid." So, in so many words, it is time for me to have a picture of Sasha, the little "kid." I told her I would do one when I could. Here is the start of Sasha "I'm a kid." Lol! *8-17 update.

Carliss, THIS IS PRECIOUS!! She's a little doll, and your work never fails to amaze me. You're so lucky to have KIDS for FRIENDS!!!

Artist Reply: Janet, I am lucky to have young friends, and appreciate it very much. Most of the professors are young now, so I get to watch a whole new crop of young'uns grow up. This is the third wave of them, and I still keep in touch with the ones I met first (back in 1981). Thanks for your ever fantastic comments, too!!
